Stopping by one of my favourite stores in Forest Hill Village, none other than La Nuit… if you live in Toronto and haven’t been in, then you need to get here ASAP!

My story today is about a fabulous jewelry designer by the name of Kim Smiley, Kim hand crafts the most spectacular pieces to break to mould of the traditional bangle. Made from the highest quality lace, semi precious stones and elegant closures create a uniqueness that can only be Kim!

What makes this brand so special to me is the fact that is also a social enterprise in connection with Sappho to create employment opportunities for marginalized populations and empowering women towards a brighter and more self sufficient future.

EXPRESS HOLIDAY PREVIEW AT THE BEVERLEY HOTEL

Accompanied by Veronica Chail (host of Bollywood Boulevard) Kate Moore (producer of Cityline) and Sean Green (owner of My City Muse) and dressed to impress we arrive at the Beverley Hotel for the Express Holiday Preview.

Upon arrival we were greeted with delicious martini and an entire collection of spectacular pieces for the upcoming Fall season.

Full of texture and clean sophistication for both men and women alike. Gold details and clear lucite beading combined with luxurious knits and beautiful pops of red and greys make this an easy to use ready to wear masterpiece.

Shut Up and Dress Me with Kit Harington

Last night marked the annual music industry extravaganza, known to us all is the Much Music Video Awards, and of course it would not be complete without the long list of celebs to set this event a buzz. However the party held at Tryst by Karyzma Public Relations and The Field Inc was the pre-awards party to be at.

Arriving at the venue around 6:30PM yesterday afternoon and it was already jammed with some of the biggest talents in Canadian and international markets. This event came fully stocked with gift lounges and drinks a flowing.  Earlier that day I was contacted by friends of Kit Harington, who you may know as Jon Snow from the TV smash hit “Game of Thrones”  (who is in Toronto filming a movie called Pompei) about where to take this kind hearted gentlemen for a night on the town during this already overbooked night of parties. After several phone calls and streams of emails, the night was set in place… and destined to memorably epic!

Wrapping up at Tryst, we were off to our next location Muzik where it turns out super star recording artist Drake was there, and just around the corner from our booth. Buzz was all about Drake being inside but our official confirmation was because of the privately sectioned off parking spot for his spectacular Bugatti adorning his personalized license plate.

The night continued on as we all boarded our respective rides and headed to the “IT” party of the night, The Universal Music Party hosted at Union night club.

Being a lover of Blackberry myself, I was happy to see they were the major sponsor and were well represented at the venue.  With all our VIP wristbands in hand we escorted everyone inside, where we partied til the wee hours of the morning.

In conclusion, the evening was a total success and I look forward to sharing more of these amazing stories with you as they happen.

As part of the latest updates to come from RIM the one today has got me super stoked!

The updated BlackBerry link now let’s you connect via a wireless connection, meaning you can access files on your computer from your handheld.

In more exciting news, WE FINALLY HAVE SKYPE, as soon as you complete the install which takes about an hour or so, hit up BlackBerry World and watch your long awaited dreams come to fruition.

Express Preview Fall 2013

Today I was invited to stop by and see what Express had stitched together for Fall. With excellent colour palettes and cuts suits for most body types for both men and women.
